As we approach the Cindy Dennis Ministries Tenth Anniversary Celebration in March, I am reminded of how much God loves celebrations. The Bible is full of celebrations. We read of festivals
to remind His people of important events from the past where God showed up and met their need. Family milestone celebrations include a birth of a child, a wedding, or an anniversary, but my favorite Bible celebration was the return of the Prodigal Son.
When he returned, his father said to his servants “We must celebrate with a feast, for this son of mine was dead and has now returned to life. He was lost, but now he is found.” (Luke 15:23-24). Then the Bible goes on to say they had a party for it is only right to celebrate like this and be overjoyed (verse 32).
Solomon writes that “For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven” He reminds us that there are times to laugh, dance, and gather (see Ecclesiastes 3:1-8).
The Oxford Dictionary defines celebration as "the action of marking one's pleasure at an important event or occasion by engaging in enjoyable, typically social, activity."Celebrations have a way of bringing people and communities together and that is just what we plan to do this March.
We are coming together to give God glory for what He has done, we are going to honor you who are a part of our legacy and we are going to celebrate God’s faithfulness together with great food and fun.Come join me in March to celebrate the great things He has done!
